About Patrick
Patrick Codd
Patrick is an ordained Zen Buddhist Priest and has practiced Zen Buddhism for over 20 years, starting at the Zen Center in Los Angeles, and then with the Greater Boston Zen Center before establishing the Grass Hut Zen Sangha in Durham, North Carolina in 2017. Patrick was ordained as a Zen Buddhist priest in October of 2017. Patrick is also an Associate Member of the Soto Zen Buddhist Association (SZBA).
Patrick is also a father, minimally invasive brain surgeon, inventor, robotics lab director, and a medical device innovator. To learn more about the many pieces of his seven-piece robe, click here.
